In the first half of this year, bilateral trade increased by 38.2% year-on-year, continuing to show a strong growth momentum.

As of the end of June this year, China and ASEAN countries have invested more than 310 billion U.S. dollars in mutual investment. The two sides have steadily expanded their investment cooperation in manufacturing, agriculture, infrastructure, high-tech, digital economy, and green economy.

  He said that in recent years, the scale of China's cross-border e-commerce import and export has grown rapidly, becoming a new bright spot in the development of foreign trade.

Looking into the future, as the construction of the “One Belt, One Road” accelerates, special products from ASEAN countries will enter the Chinese market more through e-commerce channels.

China's high-quality products will also meet the increasingly diverse consumer needs of the people of ASEAN countries through cross-border e-commerce, and the cooperation between the two sides in the field of e-commerce has broad prospects.

  According to reports, the 18th China-ASEAN Expo investment promotion and other work are progressing smoothly.

At present, the total investment and exhibition area of ​​the "One Conference and Three Pavilions" has reached 124,000 square meters, an increase of 20,000 square meters over the previous session.

Among them, the international exhibition area has increased by 2,000 square meters.

The China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit will also be held at the same time as the China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, Guangxi from September 10 to 11 this year.
