The Council of Ministers plans to approve this Tuesday a
public offer of employment
(OPE) of
30,445 places
for the
General State Administration
(AGE), as confirmed by sources from the Ministry of Finance and Public Function.
The details of the offer include
9,509 places for internal promotion
, while the rest would be open access and represent
the largest offer in history for the AGE
.
The unions rejected last week a first proposal of the Government when considering insufficient the places offered to
cover the needs of "essential" organizations such
as Social Security, the Tax Agency or the State Public Employment Service (SEPE).
This call, which
involves raising the 28,055 places called last year by 8.5%
, will be especially intensive in areas related to science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
