In the first half of this year, under the guidance of the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality", my country's photovoltaic industry maintained a rapid growth trend, and the scale of the industry continued to expand.

In the first half of the year, the national output of polysilicon, silicon wafers, cells, and modules reached 238,000 tons, 105 gigawatts (GW), 92.4 gigawatts, and 80.2 gigawatts, respectively, up 16.1%, 40%, 56.6%, and 50.5% year-on-year.

Among them, the national output of polysilicon and modules reached 42,000 tons and 14 GW respectively in June.

  In the first half of the year, the technical level of the photovoltaic industry continued to improve.

Mainstream photovoltaic companies have generally achieved mass production of high-efficiency monocrystalline cells. The conversion efficiency of P-type PERC cells in mass production has increased to more than 23%, and the mass production of N-type high-efficiency cells has accelerated. Leading companies in the industry have successively broken new records in battery conversion efficiency.

  In addition, smart photovoltaics are developing rapidly.

The level of intelligent manufacturing, intelligent operation and maintenance, and intelligent scheduling in the photovoltaic industry has gradually improved. The development trend of information technology and clean energy integration has accelerated significantly. 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet, drones and other technologies and products have accelerated their application and systematization in the photovoltaic field Solutions are constantly being introduced.

The overall market environment is improving, and the application of distributed photovoltaic installations has grown substantially, driving the accelerated development of the new energy storage battery industry.
