At present, no brand in the Stellantis galaxy has presented a model imagined under the new banner.
For example, no Fiat yet on a Peugeot platform, nor a Citroën C1 using the Fiat 500e base.
At most, we know that the DS 9 will offer its organs to revive Lancia.
On the other hand, an American website seems to already know that the Peugeot 9x8 hybrid hypercar could cross the Atlantic, and compete in IMSA competitions, local endurance races, in Dodge colors.
Le Mans
As a reminder, the 9x8 was born to represent Peugeot again at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in a new category called to replace the LMP1s: the hypercars.
This category was intended to bring racing cars closer to those that we can actually buy (well, not everyone), and to reconnect with the part of dreams that Le Mans aroused in the heyday of Ferrari 250s and other Mercedes 300 SL.
Present on the Sarthe circuit from 2022, the hypercars will be subdivided into two sub-categories: those only born for racing, like the Peugeot, and those which will also be produced in small "civilian" series, among which we expect Porsche, Toyota, Aston Martin or Ferrari.
