The Court of Instruction number five has ordered the suspension of government aid to the airline Plus Ultra for lack of justification. According to an order of the judge Esperanza Collazos, to which EL MUNDO has had access, the State Society of Industrial Participations under the Ministry of Finance, must refrain from making the following payment, scheduled for July 28 until further notice, because such help "must be justified." It indicates that "the parties must prove the need for delivery for said viability so that an unjustified delivery would entail a significant loss of assets without the possibility of restoring it to a previous situation."

; The court decision is a blow to the Government, which approved last March a loan of 54 million to Plus Ultra.

The Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, assured in Parliament that the rescue was justified.
