Medvedev called the projected volume of import substitution in Russia in 2021

"In 2021, the projected volume of import substitution may be about 600 billion rubles," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

He noted that now the country is implementing more than 20 sectoral programs, plans in priority civil industries.

Medvedev stressed that more than 1,000 import-substituting projects have already been launched, of which more than 500 have already entered serial production.

In May, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking in the State Duma with a report on the government's work for the year, spoke about plans for import substitution.
