Peskov commented on the negotiations between the United States and Germany on the "Nord Stream - 2"

Peskov said that Moscow knows that the topic of Nord Stream 2 was high on the agenda of contacts of German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Washington.

“We know that a certain understanding has been reached between Berlin and Washington, but otherwise we do not have the details yet,” he said.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, citing sources from Berlin and Washington, wrote that the United States and Germany on July 21 may announce an agreement on Nord Stream 2.

Political scientist of the International Institute for Humanitarian and Political Research Vladimir Bruter, in an interview with the FBA "Economics Today", expressed the opinion that the issue of the commercial launch of Nord Stream 2 remains open.
