It will play a positive role in promoting the construction of the ASEAN-oriented cross-border industrial chain value chain supply chain in the Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone.

  There are 6 foreign investment projects signed this time, with a contract value of US$920 million (equivalent to approximately RMB 6 billion), mainly including the APP (China) Forestry Headquarters Project of Indonesia's Sinar Mas Group, and the large-size LCD TV display of Sun Guangtong Trading (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. Display module production, Yum China Nanning Smart Supply Chain Operation Center, GLP Nanning Smart Supply Chain Integration Industrial Innovation Port Project, etc.

  According to the Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone Construction Headquarters, since the beginning of this year, the pilot free trade zone has launched a large-scale investment promotion for industries, accelerated industrial agglomeration, accelerated the development of an open economy, and continued to optimize the business environment.

As of June 30, a total of 37,000 enterprises have settled in the pilot free trade zone, which is 10 times the number before the establishment of the pilot free trade zone.

The total import and export volume of the Pilot Free Trade Zone in the first half of 2021 was RMB 101.4 billion, a year-on-year increase of 34%.

  In terms of optimizing the business environment, the courts, prosecutors' offices, and intellectual property rights protection assistance centers in the Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone have been established; the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Service Center, the Mediation Center, and the offices of the China Chamber of Commerce and China Maritime Affairs have successively settled.

With the acceleration of the construction of the China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Center in the Pilot Free Trade Zone, a "one-stop" cross-border service system integration for China-ASEAN economic and trade cooperation has gradually taken shape.
