As of the end of June, it has covered all prefecture-level and above cities across the country.
The number of 5G terminal connections is approximately 365 million, and the number of gigabit broadband users has reached 13.62 million. The application scenarios of "5G + Industrial Internet" continue to expand.
According to reports, my country has built nearly 1,600 "5G+Industrial Internet" projects, covering more than 20 key industries and fields of the national economy, and has played an important role in the transformation and upgrading of the real economy to digital, networked, and intelligent real economy.
In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will continue to promote the innovation and development of the industrial Internet: first, continue to consolidate the network foundation, promote the construction of 5G networks, and accelerate the 5G network coverage of key areas and industries such as factories and parks; second, strengthen industrial support and accelerate vertical The industry "5G+Industrial Internet" integrated application standard formulation, promote customized development; third, enrich integrated applications, carry out industrial Internet pilot demonstration applications and integrated application pilot area construction, release the second batch of application scenario demonstrations and industry practices.
