Jebel Ali Port, the leading facility of DP World - UAE Region, has succeeded in shipping four giant polyethylene reactors, the largest of which weighed 227 tons, to the Port of Rotterdam, in cooperation with the leading CMA-CGM Group. Globally in the shipping and logistics sector, the reactors were loaded using a floating crane belonging to Drydocks World, a DP World company, and were shipped via two successive sea voyages.

This achievement was one of the largest projects of loading cargo on a container ship in the Middle East, and more than 100 specialists from various sectors of the supply chain and supply contributed to it, using systematic plans that adhered to complete safety procedures during the implementation stages.

The shipped reactors had a total weight of 839 tons, a length of 35 meters, and a width and height of seven meters each, which is equivalent to the loading volume of 424 TEUs.
