Putin said the Russian economy as a whole has recovered

“We can say that, in general, the consequences of the pandemic have been overcome, the economy has generally recovered,” Putin said at the APEC summit, which was held in video format.

Earlier it became known that the Ministry of Economic Development improved the forecast for the growth rate of Russia's GDP for 2021 to 3.8% in comparison with the forecast of 2.9% made in April.

The forecast for investment growth was also improved to 4.5%.
