At the monetary policy meeting held until the 16th, the Bank of Japan summarized a draft of a new funding mechanism to support climate change investment and lending by banks and others.

According to this, the Bank of Japan will lend at an interest rate of 0% for investment and loans in response to climate change, provided that banks and others disclose certain information.

The Bank of Japan aims to support efforts such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions by providing funds that do not bear interest rates and supporting banks.
