As reported by TASS with reference to the court's decision, Germany's appeal on the previous decision concerning OPAL was thus rejected.

“On the basis of the principle of energy solidarity, the court considers the decision of the European Court of Justice of September 2019 on the claim of Poland to be justified, according to which it was decided to limit the OPAL's capacity by 50%,” the document says.

Earlier, Germany appealed against the decision of the European Union court to limit the volume of natural gas pumped by Gazprom through OPAL.
