China News Service, Nanjing, July 13 (Xu Shanshan) On the evening of the 12th, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group officially issued an obituary stating that Xu Jingren, secretary of the party committee, chairman and general manager of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, suffered a sudden illness during his work, and the rescue was invalid. He passed away unfortunately at 20:39 on July 12, 2021, at the age of 77.

  Xu Jingren was born in Taizhou, Jiangsu on September 15, 1944. He joined the Communist Party of China in October 1965 and was a representative of the 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th National People's Congress.

Xu Jingren is the founder and pioneer of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group and has devoted his life to the establishment, growth and development of the group.

  The obituary stated that the Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group established a committee for the funeral of Comrade Xu Jingren.

Xu Jingren’s mourning hall is located in the Yangtze River Auditorium. A farewell ceremony for the remains will be held at 8:30 am on July 17, 2021.
