Zelensky also said that at a future meeting between Merkel and US President Joe Biden, the topic of Nord Stream 2 will be discussed.
The Ukrainian president added that his meeting with the German Chancellor was "unexpectedly long" and lasted more than four hours.
He noted that he was glad that after the meeting they "managed to come to a common understanding that he came with the solution of security issues."
Earlier it was reported that Zelensky intends to stop the Nord Stream 2 project during his visit to Germany and planned talks with Merkel.
