The development scale index, service quality index, and development capability index were 355.1, 697, and 218.8, respectively, with year-on-year growth rates of 19.5%, 4.5%, and 1.1%.

The development trend index was 86.9, a slight decline year-on-year.

  In June, the express development scale index was 355.1, a year-on-year increase of 19.5%.

In terms of sub-indices, express delivery business volume and business revenue are expected to grow by about 26% and 12% respectively.

From the perspective of sub-indices, the effective appeal rate of express delivery is 0.2 parts per million.

User satisfaction with express delivery services was 79.5 points, a year-on-year increase of 1.1 points.

The 72-hour punctuality rate in key areas was 77.9%.

This was an increase of 0.4% year-on-year.

  Wang Yuehan pointed out that in the first half of the year, the service quality of the industry continued to improve, and the time limit increased steadily, mainly due to the following aspects: First, the technology guarantees flexible and efficient peak services.

Express companies have increased their investment in smart distribution equipment, smart cloud warehouses and other equipment and facilities, and through "intelligent routing" + "AI judgment map", digital "housekeeping", "real-time monitoring" + "data cube", "pre-sale speed "+"Kunlun" system and other big data and artificial intelligence technologies to achieve accurate front-end prediction, advance warehouse placement, mid-end real-time tracking, fast response, dynamic back-end docking, and high-quality assurance.

With the support of science and technology, the flexibility, efficiency and accuracy of delivery services have been significantly enhanced.

  Second, service upgrades boosted the quality and growth rate of agricultural products delivery.

Express companies have fully upgraded the full-link fresh food delivery service plan to ensure the diversified needs of different types of customers and satisfy consumers for a faster, better and more intimate fresh food express experience.

  The third is to improve the express delivery service system for people's livelihood.

In the first half of the year, the express delivery industry served approximately 600 million users per day on average, which made it easier for people to benefit business and smooth circulation.

In terms of sub-indices, supporting online retail sales is expected to be nearly 900 billion yuan; the density of urban and rural outlets and labor productivity have steadily increased.

In the first half of the year, the online retail sales of express delivery support is expected to be close to 50 billion yuan, accounting for about 23% of the total retail sales of consumer goods.

  Wang Yuehan said that in the first half of the year, the improvement of express delivery capacity was mainly reflected in the following aspects: First, the acceleration of infrastructure construction.

In order to effectively meet the needs of industry development, express companies continue to increase the construction of distribution centers and express logistics parks, consolidate the network foundation, expand the layout of production warehouses, and improve the support capacity of hubs. There are dozens of smart companies in Xingtai, Chaozhou, Yinchuan, Meishan, Nanning and other places. The warehouse, 5G warehouse, and cold chain warehouse were put into production, construction, and start-up operations.

  The second is to accelerate the optimization of comprehensive transportation capacity.

Express companies continue to improve their comprehensive transportation capabilities, actively expand the scale of road transport vehicles, increase high-speed rail express services, encrypt international aviation networks, open the first China-Korea shipping e-commerce special delivery, and enhance multimodal transport development capabilities.

It will play an active role in smoothing the international supply chain and accelerating the process of promoting enterprises to upgrade to the high-end of the value chain.

  The third is the continuous strengthening of international service capabilities.

The pace of express delivery to the sea has accelerated, and the overseas delivery and supply have been continuously improved by opening roads, railways, cold chains and other international transportation lines, innovating aviation and shipping container booking services, opening international franchise outlets, and providing end-to-end cross-border logistics services. Chain service capabilities to provide foreign users with convenient services such as door-to-door pickup, convenient delivery, one order to the end, and real-time tracking.
