Minimum Wage Committee has set the minimum wage for next year to 9,160 won, a 440 won increase from 8,720 won per hour this year.



This is a 5% increase from this year, and in terms of monthly salary, it is 1914,440 won.

The minimum wage, which recorded double-digit increase rates twice during this administration, rose only 2.9% last year and 1.5% this year, the lowest in history. There is.



Both sides of the labor and management proposed the third amendment on the afternoon of the 12th, but the gap was still large, and the public interest committee offered between 9,030 won and 9,300 won as a deliberation promotion section to narrow the gap.



In response, the KCTU recommendation members left the company saying they were not at the level to discuss to change the lives of low-wage workers.



The members of the user's side also left the office, protesting that the level was beyond the ability of small business owners to pay.



Afterwards, the single proposal proposed by the public interest committee was confirmed as the final proposal.



The minimum wage for next year will be announced on the 5th of the following month by the Minister of Employment and Labor after going through an objection process, and it will take effect from January 1 of next year.
