Google will have to get its hands on the wallet.

This Tuesday, the French competition authority sanctioned the digital giant with a fine of 500 million euros.

This is not the first time that the company has been called to order in Europe, as Margrethe Vestager knows well.

The European Commissioner for Competition has already paid billions of euros to Google and Apple for not having respected the laws or paid certain taxes.

"The world is not necessarily fair, but I think it's a little better," she explains.
