This feature has been the pride of Tesla users for some time now, but VW is the first general manufacturer to offer this technology.

From this summer, the manufacturer will regularly offer “Over-the-Air” software updates on its ID.3 and ID.4 models.

The first to benefit from it, from this July, is the ID.3.

The update includes adjustments and improvements to some features, performance and comfort.

The ID.4 and ID.4 GTX will follow and in the future VW will update the software of its ID models.
