China News Service, Changchun, July 11 (Reporter Guo Jia) At the 18th Changchun Auto Show held here, China’s mainstream new energy vehicles are collectively unveiled. Unlike the past, the cruising range is no longer the main selling point. Fighting ecology is becoming the new normal of competition among auto companies.

When the battery technology is not yet mature, the cruising range is often one of the most important selling points of new energy vehicles.

Today, reporters visited the Changchun Auto Show and found that a cruising range of more than 400 kilometers has become the threshold for mainstream new energy vehicles.

However, while consumers' "mileage anxiety" has eased, new competition among car companies has begun.

In the Weimar automobile exhibition area, a car is said to have a cruising range of up to 620 kilometers.

However, the staff are more willing to show its innovation in intelligent interaction-through the AVP unmanned autonomous parking system, L4 level conditional autonomous driving can be realized in specific scenarios.

According to reports, after this car has undergone a "learning", the system can automatically memorize the driving trajectory and the location of the preset parking spaces locally and in the cloud, so as to realize automatic parking in unmanned situations.

At the same time, it can avoid obstacles by itself and come to pick up the car automatically.

AIWAYS Auto in another exhibition area is not far from others. With the advantages of intelligent interactive technology and cost-effectiveness, this auto company has a flourishing life in the European market.

Sales consultant Ms. Wang introduced more than a dozen functions such as AI-Pilot intelligent driving, AI-Parking automatic parking, active driving safety and fatigue warning, and smart home remote interconnection ecology.

"The era of'software-defined cars' has come." Ms. Wang believes that with the younger generation of car buyers, the level of intelligence has a huge impact on users' car purchase choices.

She also introduced that AIWAYS is about to launch a car with an enthusiast-level audio-visual space and the world's first self-developed car game, which I believe will be welcomed.

The new competition of new energy car companies goes far beyond intelligence.

It is obvious to all that NIO’s self-built swap station and charging system have contributed to the promotion of sales.

In the Weilai Automobile Exhibition Area, a huge map of China is dotted with dense green dots, and each dot represents a replacement station or overcharge station.

A marketing manager of Weilai Automobile told reporters that at present, Weilai has more than 300 replacement stations in China and more than 200 overcharging stations.

The charging power of the supercharger is as high as 180kW, and it only takes half an hour to charge the power from 20% to 80%.

At present, more and more car companies regard the construction and layout of charging facilities as a new means of competition.

For example, AIWAYS even launched a smart mobile charging robot to solve the distress of users looking for charging piles.

With the advent of the era of fighting ecology, expensive charging facilities have become a problem that car companies need to face directly.

As a car buyer said, the most important thing to buy a pure electric car is to see the inconvenience of the charging party. If it is inconvenient, you will definitely not buy it.
