Fortunately, there are problems with using text, pictures, videos and other methods to deceive and mislead users to jump on the opening information page.
Up to now, 68 leading Internet companies including Baidu, Ali, Tencent, ByteDance, Sina Weibo, and iQiyi have completed rectification as required.
In the second quarter of 2021, the number of complaints and reports from users of open-screen pop-up information dropped by 50% from the previous month, and the problem of misleading users to click on third-party pages dropped by 80% year-on-year.
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated that in the next step, it will continue to increase its work and steadily promote APP special rectification to go deep and practical.
