The survey was conducted by the Dentsu Group, a major advertising company, in the form of a questionnaire targeting consumers in their teens to 70s, and 1,400 people responded.



When asked how much they knew about "carbon neutral", 14.6% answered that they "know the content".



In addition, the awareness of the 14 priority areas set by the government for decarbonization was 70.6% for "electricity of cars" and 65.2% for "realization of a sound material-cycle society" such as recycling, but most of them. On the other hand, about 74% of respondents answered that the price increase of products and services due to decarbonization efforts, such as the increase in electricity prices due to the expansion of the introduction of renewable energy, is "acceptable".
