Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ has announced that it will reduce the fee by up to 110 yen from October this year.

This is because the fees for remittances between banks will be reduced, and it is likely that other major banks and regional banks will also reduce the transfer fees.

According to the announcement, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ has decided to reduce the fee for customers to transfer money to the accounts of other banks from October.

The price reduction will be the same for all methods such as ATM = automatic teller machine, online banking, and store counters. If the transfer amount is less than 30,000 yen, it will be reduced by 66 yen, and if it is 30,000 yen or more, it will be reduced by 110 yen.

As a result, the transfer fee when using a cash card at an ATM will be 209 yen if the transfer amount is less than 30,000 yen, and 330 yen if the transfer amount is 30,000 yen or more.

In the case of online banking, if the transfer amount is less than 30,000 yen, it will be 154 yen, and if it is 30,000 yen or more, it will be 220 yen.

The transfer fee will be reduced this time as the fee for remittances between banks using a common system will be reduced.

Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ is the first major bank to announce that it will actually reduce prices, and it is likely that price reductions will spread nationwide in the future, including not only other major banks but also regional banks.
