Re-election of the UAE to the membership of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization

The United Arab Emirates, represented by the General Civil Aviation Authority, achieved a deserved victory in its re-election to the membership of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, during the elections that took place on the sidelines of the organization's General Assembly today.

The Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Authority’s Board of Directors, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, said in a statement that the UAE’s re-election to the membership of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization reflects the prestigious position and confidence enjoyed by the UAE civil aviation sector Arab and international, which, despite the challenges imposed by the pandemic, has proven its dynamism. And his flexibility, which enabled him to initiate a quick recovery and overcome the effects of this crisis.

For his part, the Director General of the General Civil Aviation Authority, Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, expressed his pride in this achievement, which came as a result of the wise vision of the wise leadership of the UAE and an affirmation of the state's position as a major and distinguished driver in this sector at the Arab and international levels.
