Data show that in June, China's Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) was 50.9%, a slight decrease of 0.1 percentage point from the previous month, and continued to be above the threshold. The manufacturing industry continued to expand steadily.

  From the perspective of enterprise scale, the PMI of large and medium-sized enterprises was 51.7% and 50.8%, respectively, down 0.1 and 0.3 percentage points from the previous month, which were both higher than the threshold; the PMI of small enterprises was 49.1%, which was 0.3 percentage points higher than the previous month.   From the perspective of sub-indices, among the five sub-indices that make up the manufacturing PMI, the production index and the new order index are all above the critical point, and the raw material inventory index, the employee index, and the supplier's delivery time index are all below the critical point.

  The production index was 51.9%, a decrease of 0.8 percentage points from the previous month, and was higher than the threshold, indicating that manufacturing production has continued to expand, but the pace has slowed down.

  The new order index was 51.5%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, and was higher than the threshold, indicating that the manufacturing market demand continued to grow.

  The raw material inventory index was 48.0%, an increase of 0.3 percentage points from the previous month, and was below the threshold, indicating that the decline in the manufacturing industry's main raw material inventory has narrowed.

  The employment index was 49.2%, an increase of 0.3 percentage points from the previous month, and was lower than the threshold, indicating a slight improvement in the employment boom of manufacturing enterprises compared with the previous month.

  The supplier delivery time index was 47.9%. Although it rebounded 0.3 percentage points from the previous month, it was below the threshold, indicating that the delivery time of manufacturing raw material suppliers continued to slow down.

Operation of China's non-manufacturing purchasing managers' index   

  In June, the non-manufacturing business activity index was 53.5%, a decrease of 1.7 percentage points from the previous month. The expansion of non-manufacturing industry has weakened.

  In terms of different industries, the business activity index of the construction industry was 60.1%, the same as last month.

The service industry business activity index was 52.3%, 2.0 percentage points lower than last month.

From the perspective of the industry, the business activity index of postal, telecommunications, radio and television satellite transmission services, currency and financial services, capital market services, insurance and other industries is in the high-prosperity range of more than 59.0%; air transportation, accommodation, catering, real estate, leasing and business services The business activity index of other industries is below the critical point.

  The new order index was 49.6%, down 2.6 percentage points from the previous month, and below the threshold, indicating that the non-manufacturing market demand has decreased from the previous month.

In terms of different industries, the new order index of the construction industry was 51.2%, a decrease of 2.6 percentage points from the previous month; the new order index of the service industry was 49.4%, a decrease of 2.6 percentage points from the previous month.

  The input price index was 53.4%, a drop of 4.3 percentage points from the previous month, and was higher than the threshold, indicating that the price increase of inputs used by non-manufacturing enterprises for business activities has significantly narrowed.

In terms of different industries, the input price index of the construction industry was 51.7%, a decrease of 21.9 percentage points from the previous month; the input price index of the service industry was 53.7%, a decrease of 1.2 percentage points from the previous month.

  The sales price index was 51.4%, 1.4 percentage points lower than last month, and higher than the threshold, indicating that the growth rate of non-manufacturing sales prices has fallen.

In terms of different industries, the construction industry sales price index was 52.0%, a decrease of 5.0 percentage points from the previous month; the service industry sales price index was 51.2%, a decrease of 0.8 percentage points from the previous month.

  The employment index was 48.0%, a decrease of 0.9 percentage points from the previous month, indicating that the non-manufacturing employment boom has declined.

In terms of different industries, the construction industry employment index was 50.3%, a decrease of 2.7 percentage points from the previous month; the service industry employment index was 47.6%, a decrease of 0.6 percentage points from the previous month.

  The business activity expectation index was 60.8%, a decrease of 2.1 percentage points from the previous month, and was still in the high level of the boom range, indicating that non-manufacturing companies continue to be optimistic about the development of the industry.

In terms of different industries, the business activity expectation index of the construction industry was 63.2%, down 2.5 percentage points from the previous month; the business activity expectation index of the service industry was 60.4%, down 2.0 percentage points from the previous month.

  In June, the comprehensive PMI output index was 52.9%, a drop of 1.3 percentage points from the previous month, indicating that the overall expansion of production and operation activities of Chinese enterprises has slowed down.
