• Until midnight Wednesday June 30, employees who have not transferred their acquired rights under the DIF to their CPF must make the switch.

  • After this period, they will lose the rights, which can sometimes represent several hundred euros.

  • You must go to the My training account site to make this change.

Only one day left to convert your training hours into euros!

Until midnight on Wednesday June 30, the French who still have not transferred their acquired rights under the Individual Right to Training (DIF) to their Personal Training Account (CPF) must take the process personally.

After this period, they will lose the rights acquired until 2015 with the DIF, which can sometimes represent several hundred euros.

In a press release published on June 1, the Professional Training Federation (FFP) estimated the number of employees who did not switch to 10 million, for an amount equivalent to around 12 billion euros.

Figures disputed by the Ministry of Labor.

Who is concerned ?

The Personal Training Account (CPF) replaces the Individual Right to Training (Dif), which was in force until December 31, 2014 for employees in the private sector, and until December 31, 2016 for civil service personnel. .

Private sector employees, childminders, employees of private employers, temporary workers, entertainment workers and other workers under AFDAS are concerned.

Civil servants, who represent more than 8 million accounts, have already acquired rights and are not affected by the transfer.

What does this change?

As a reminder, it was possible with the DIF to accumulate up to 120 hours of rights (up to 20 hours of training per year over a period of six years).

With the CPF, now, euros are granted each year (500 euros per year, within a limit of 5,000 euros, 800 euros per year for unqualified persons, within a limit of 8,000 euros).

How to make the change?

If you have not used all your hours of the DIF, you must therefore convert them, up to 15 euros per hour.

A transfer that can bring you up to 1,800 euros in training rights.

Your employer was required to inform you of the balance of DIF hours in writing by January 31, 2015 at the latest.

Several means are possible to check your balance of hours: your payslip from December 2014 or January 2015, a certificate of DIF rights provided by your employer at the time, your last work certificate.

If you cannot find these documents, contact the advisers of the Caisse des Dépôts directly by telephone or via the My training account site.

It is on this site that the procedures for the transfer are to be carried out.

After creating your personal account, you must then enter your rights acquired via the DIF in "Enter my DIF" to perform the conversion.

But we will undoubtedly have to be patient.

The site was in fact saturated this Tuesday at midday, posting an encouraging “Well done, there are so many of you (…), we suggest you reconnect a little later.

Watch out for fraudsters

"There are training companies that offer training through the CPF which have not been duly authorized," accuses Olivier Poncelet, the general delegate of the Federation of vocational training (FFP).

There are indeed many employees called upon by certain organizations, which encourage them to register for training at the risk of losing their rights.

However, recalls the government, "to use your training account, (there is only) one official site: moncompteformation.gouv.fr".

And to add: “Be attentive to attempted scams (repeated solicitations, sponsorships, deceptive job offers)!
