Billion dollars traded Bahraini cryptocurrency platform

Rain Management, the Middle East's cryptocurrency platform and the first crypto-asset trading service provider licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain, said its trading volume exceeded $1 billion during the first half of 2021.

The trading volume on the platform grew 20 times in the first half of 2021 compared to the same period last year due to the spread of awareness of the cryptocurrency industry and the shift in the mindset of investors in the region to reach USD 1 billion, making it one of the highest trading volumes of any cryptocurrency exchange in the Middle East region.

The platform grew its user base 9 times in the first half of 2020 compared to the same period in 2019 and 19 times in 2021, reaching more than 100,000 active users today, and the number of Rain Management employees increased to 105 employees.

The CEO of the company, Joseph Dallago, said: “We are aware of the position of the Middle East region and the size of the opportunities in its markets, so we had to seize these opportunities. In 2020, we witnessed the adoption of digital technologies in the region, which certainly had a positive impact on our growth. He added: “It is considered Trading volume surpassing $1 billion is an important moment for us.It reflects the positive reception our platform has received in the region, where consumers have embraced it and become the preferred choice they have been waiting for.
