  A few days ago, the reporter learned at the Datang Nanjing Power Plant to participate in related activities of the 15th China Datang Enterprise Open Day, that the power plant is the first domestic coal-fired power plant to carry out research on "smart power plants".

  It is understood that the main technologies for the construction of the "Smart Power Plant" of Datang Nanjing Power Plant include boiler CT technology, intelligent combustion, three-dimensional mirrored power plant, boiler four-tube diagnosis, remote fault diagnosis and personnel location six functional modules.

Using the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data analysis and virtual reality, the internal equipment of the power plant can be accurately and efficiently monitored.

  Through the application of this technology, the boiler efficiency has been increased by 0.5%, coal consumption has been reduced by 1.5 g/kWh, and nearly 10,000 tons of standard coal can be saved each year, which is conducive to energy conservation and emission reduction, and contributes to the clean and low-carbon development of China's energy system.

  At present, Datang Nanjing Power Plant is upgrading and improving on the basis of "Smart Power Plant" 1.0. The "Smart Power Plant" version 2.0 is expected to be put into use in August 2021.

In addition to upgrading existing modules, "Smart Power Plant" 2.0 will also launch an intelligent combustion real-time optimization control system and an intelligent coal blending system.

Through the combination of the intelligent coal blending combustion system and the intelligent combustion optimization system, collaborative optimization is realized together, and carbon emissions are reduced in the whole process from coal purchase, coal storage, and coal burning.

  According to reports, this technology increases the blending ratio of low-quality coal by 5%-10% on the original basis, improves the adaptability of coal-fired power plants, reduces coal consumption, and improves economic benefits.

  While focusing on energy conservation and emission reduction, this technology also puts safe production and improving the working environment of personnel on a very important position.

It is reported that "Smart Power Plant 2.0" will soon be launched on-line for remote automatic control of dock unloading, remote control of stacker and reclaimer, and intelligent inspection of coal conveyor belt robots, which realizes the automation, intelligence and digitization of power plants, and guarantees production while improving production efficiency. Safety, improve the working environment of front-line personnel, and practice the development concept of "green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains" and people-centered development.
