At present, Putian City has more than 4,200 shoe companies and 500,000 employees, with an output value of over 100 billion yuan, and an annual output of 1.3 billion pairs of shoes, accounting for nearly one-tenth of the national output.
At present, the Putian Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government are seizing the new development opportunities of the domestic and international dual cycle, vigorously implementing the brand cultivation strategy, and issuing a series of supporting policies to promote private-brand enterprises to become large-scale, strengthened, and strengthened.

After public solicitation from the whole society, Putian City initially determined the LOGO and name of the collective trademark "Putian Shoes".
The LOGO uses shoelaces as the creative composition to outline the pinyin initials "P" and "T" of the word Putian.
At present, the collective trademark has been applied for registration with the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office.
This is also the first collective shoe industry trademark in Fujian Province named after the name of a municipal administrative division.
In order to make the collective trademark of "Putian Shoes" recognized by a wide range of market entities and consumers, Putian City took full advantage of shoemaking technology and relied on the Putian Customs State Key Laboratory of Footwear Testing to formulate the country's first "Construction Safety Shoes" group standard. .
It is reported that this standard applies to self-owned brand construction safety shoes produced and operated by footwear enterprises in Putian jurisdiction, and is used to protect the wearer's feet from hazards in the work area or safety in the work area.
The standard specifies the classification, style, marking, basic requirements, protective performance, additional requirements, markings, and information that the manufacturer should provide for construction safety shoes.
Under this standard, 6 companies including Putian Yongsheng Footwear Co., Ltd. took the lead in launching sample shoes of construction safety shoes in the country, and were the first to use the collective trademark "Putian Shoes".
At the launch ceremony, China State Construction Group, China Railway Group, China Railway Construction, Putian City Construction Industry Association and other enterprises and Putian City Footwear Association signed on-site construction safety shoes procurement intentions.
A total of 244,116 pairs of construction safety shoes were successfully signed on that day.
