The all-new Opel Astra is in its final stages of gestation, and is slowly starting to reveal itself.

Big change in sight, since while the outgoing generation had still been created under the General Motors banner.

Now a Stellantis product, the next Astra will take over the technical basis of the new Peugeot 308. But it will obviously display a completely Opel identity, with in particular its Vizor front panel, typical of the brand's new models.

The cabin will receive the Pure Panel, these two large attached screens that take over the digital instrumentation and the infotainment system.

Opel announces the arrival of hybrid engines (the 308 will offer two, that's a clue) and the Sports Tourer station wagon.

The Astra will go into production at the end of this year.
