The Central Bank launches a portal that allows reporting violations in complete confidentiality

The Central Bank of the UAE has launched a new electronic reporting portal, which is an encrypted channel that allows stakeholders to report any suspicion of misconduct or violation of business policies by an employee, representative of the Central Bank or an external contractor.

The launch of the portal is part of the Central Bank's efforts to enhance compliance with its code of professional conduct and adherence to the highest standards of governance, as it aims to address and reduce any illegal practice by taking the necessary measures in a timely manner.

The portal on the Central Bank's website allows employees and external stakeholders, such as financial institutions, suppliers and the public, to communicate their suspicions about any misconduct in strict confidence.

It also allows complete and orderly communication of complaint information, including attachment of files and supporting documents.

The whistleblowing portal is available at the following link: https://eservices.centralbank.ae/wb/index-ar.html
