Dubai Economy Violates 26 places for non-compliance with the precautionary measures for Covid 19

Yesterday, the commercial control and consumer protection sector of the Dubai economy violated 26 commercial establishments for not adhering to the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus "Covid 19", such as wearing masks and physical distancing, in open market shops and commercial centers.

The major discounts raised the percentage of visitors to commercial centers, which contributed to the failure of some merchants to apply the principles of physical distancing, especially in organizing queues in front of the payment counter.

Dubai Economy indicated that by continuing its tours in cooperation with various partners, it will focus on inspection campaigns on commercial centers and places that may witness gatherings, in the interest of the safety of society, and will not tolerate violations and abuses that are monitored or reported by the public of consumers and dealers. Dubai Economy directs traders to adhere to precautionary measures such as wearing masks and applying the principles of physical distancing.

Various audiences are encouraged to report any negative cases or phenomena in violation of the precautionary measures through the Dubai Consumer App available on Apple, Google and Huawei stores.
