From June 4, the Visale guarantee, which makes it possible to benefit from a deposit guaranteed by the State to rent accommodation, will be extended to all employees earning less than 1,500 euros net per month.

Until now, it was reserved for those under 30 and precarious workers.

The Visale warranty will be extended from June 4th.

To facilitate access to housing, this device making it possible to benefit from a deposit guaranteed by the State, will now be accessible to all employees who earn less than 1,500 euros net monthly, reveals Europe 1 Friday morning.

Until now, the Visale guarantee was reserved for those under 30 or precarious workers.

Extending this system should make it possible, according to the government, to facilitate access to rental for more employees, by covering unpaid rents over a period of 36 months.

It will be valid regardless of their age or their employment contract.

Allow employees to find accommodation "in better conditions"

A measure that the Minister of Housing, Emmanuelle Wargon, considers necessary in the current context.

"For me, it is a support to all those who were called 'essential' workers during the health crisis, those on the second line. These are workers whose wages are sometimes limited and who struggle to have access to housing. in the big cities, those whose files are not retained. It is these employees that I am thinking of in coming out of the crisis, to allow them to find housing in better conditions ", she explains at the microphone of Europe 1.
