Xinhua News Agency, Hefei, May 26 (Reporters Ma Shurui and Liu Junxi) In less than one hour, a scrap railway truck can be automatically dismantled by a robot, and then it can be turned into agricultural machinery, hardware and other products through deep processing.

On May 26, the railway material recycling production base established in Ma'anshan City, Anhui Province was officially put into operation, and the railway waste materials will be "reborn" here.

Dismantling 4,000 scrap locomotives, passenger cars, and trucks annually, disposing of 125,000 tons of scrap steel rails, 58,000 tons of scrap metal... As a high-end intelligent manufacturing industry project for the recycling of railway materials, the annual production scale of Ma'anshan production base reaches 210,000 tons. The research and development of automated scrap truck dismantling production line, scrap steel rail disposal production line, and scrap passenger car personalized decoration production line.

The reporter saw at the scene that after a black truck carriage entered the automated scrapped truck dismantling production line, multiple robot arms cooperated to cut the truck carriages. The production line suddenly splashed with flames. After dozens of minutes, the truck carriages were cut. Dismantling is complete.

On the adjacent scrap rail disposal production line, workers operate equipment to detect and repair scrap rails on the conveyor belt. The reprocessed scrap rails can be degraded and reused, or they can be developed into products such as knives, tools, and castings.

On the production line for personalized decoration of scrapped passenger cars, several modified green passenger cars are parked on site, and the once-used passenger cars are "transformed" into meeting rooms, theme restaurants, hotel rooms...

"Through professional equipment, railway waste materials can be inspected, repaired, and reformed. At the same time, after market-oriented new product development, they can be further processed into application-oriented products required by the market." said Xia Yang, general manager of China Railway Materials Group Resources Technology Company. .

With the upgrading of railway equipment technology and infrastructure equipment, the volume of waste reported is increasing.

According to incomplete statistics from China Railway Materials Group, there are about tens of thousands of locomotives, trucks, passenger cars and millions of tons of scrap steel rails and scrap metal in national railways, urban rail transit and local railway dedicated line systems that need to be scrapped every year.

Scrap is a resource that is misplaced.

In response to the current situation of railway waste disposal, China Railway Materials Group and China Baowu Iron and Steel Group jointly established Resource Technology Co., Ltd., and related enterprises and scientific research teams to carry out railway waste recycling and related technology, products and equipment research and development.

From scrapped passenger cars, trucks, rails and other railway materials "transformed" into products needed by the market such as agricultural machinery equipment accessories, engineering machinery accessories, and hardware machinery, a "closed loop" of a recycling, waste-to-rich, efficient and green industrial chain is in progress. form.

The reporter learned that relying on intelligent robots, industrial Internet, and big data information management technology, the Ma'anshan production base has overturned the "small workshop" scrap disposal method.

Here, the self-developed automatic dismantling production line for railway scrap wagons has increased its disposal efficiency by more than 4 times compared with traditional methods; the scrap steel rail disposal production line has increased its disposal efficiency by more than 6 times compared with traditional methods; more than 20 patented technologies have multiple technologies to fill There is a blank in the country, and every piece of "scrap" can realize traceability application, "visualization" of the entire production process and full life cycle management.

It is reported that China Railway Materials Group will also establish a national railway system waste report database at the Ma’anshan production base, and start from Ma’anshan to build a national railway material recycling industrial base or park during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period to create China’s "green" Railway" business card.
