The retail price of regular gasoline this week was 152.6 yen per liter on a national average, up 0.8 yen from last week.

The impact of a cyberattack on one of the largest oil pipelines in the United States has caused crude oil prices to rise.

According to the Petroleum Information Center, which is entrusted by the government to investigate gasoline prices, the retail price of regular gasoline as of the 24th was 152.6 yen per liter on the national average, an increase of 0.8 yen compared to last week.

This is mainly due to the rise in crude oil prices due to a temporary suspension of supply of one of the largest oil pipelines in the United States this month due to a cyber attack, and retail prices have risen for the fourth straight week.

Regarding the outlook for the future, the Oil Information Center said, "The price will drop next week as crude oil prices are currently declining due to the resumption of indirect talks between the United States and Iran to rebuild the Iran nuclear agreement." It is said.
