Shen Zhulin said that in order to further strengthen the overall layout of the national integrated big data center and accelerate the construction of the national computing power network infrastructure, recently the National Development and Reform Commission and other four ministries and commissions jointly issued the "National Integrated Big Data Center Collaborative Innovation System Computing Hub Implementation Program" (referred to as "Program").
The "Plan" proposes to build a national unity in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Chengdu-Chongqing, and Guizhou, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Ningxia and other places based on energy structure, industrial layout, market development, climate environment, etc. Transform the national hub nodes of the computing power network, develop data center clusters, and guide the intensive, large-scale, and green development of data centers.
The nationwide integrated computing power network will further open up network transmission channels between the national hub nodes, accelerate the implementation of the "Eastern Data and Western Computing" project, strengthen the exploration and practice of cloud computing power services, data circulation, etc., and play a demonstrative and leading role.
