On May 22, the "Qilu" Eurasian cold chain train was issued by the China-Shanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone ("Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone") Qingdao Multimodal Transport Center. This train is the first cold chain train in China. Eurasian train with fresh vegetables.

  According to reports, there are 50 trains, 100 TEUs, full of frozen and fresh agricultural products such as green cauliflower and green asparagus. The value is about 1 million U.S. dollars. It will leave the country through Manzhouli port and will arrive in Moscow, Russia in about 15 days.

  This cold chain train uses 50 40-foot pure diesel cold chain containers, and all containers are equipped with a generator refrigeration unit with a 1,000-liter diesel fuel tank. The entire transportation process does not require refueling and other operations on the way to ensure the quality of the goods.

  According to Jiaozhou Customs statistics, in the first four months of this year, the Qingdao Multimodal Transport Center in the Shanghai Cooperation Demonstration Zone shipped a total of 209 "Qilu" Eurasian trains and 16,866 TEUs of goods, an increase of 77.1% and 125.9% year-on-year respectively.

  It is reported that in 2020, Qingdao, Shandong will open a total of 401 Eurasian trains, a year-on-year increase of 15.9%, maintaining growth for the sixth consecutive year.

The "Qilu" Euro-Asian Express "Shanghai-Shanghai Express Line" takes the multimodal transport center of the Shanghai Jiaozhou Demonstration Zone in Qingdao as the source assembly center. Entry and exit routes of two ports.

It is planned to add 7 new operating lines within this year and increase the number of inter-city lines to 47, which can directly reach 49 cities in 19 countries and regions along the “Belt and Road”.
