From the perspective of commodity retail sales, most commodity retail categories have maintained growth, and 17 of the 18 major categories have maintained their two-year average growth rate.

Among them, the retail sales of basic lifestyle and upgraded commodities grew at a faster rate.

Fu Linghui pointed out that there are many favorable conditions for China's consumption to maintain a stable recovery in the next stage.

In the first quarter, the contribution rate of consumption in the three major demands has rebounded to the largest.

In the later stage, consumption will continue to play the role of a stabilizer, and there will be very solid support.

At the same time, with the steady recovery of China's economy and the expansion of employment, the income of residents also increased in the first quarter, which is conducive to improving consumption power.

Although there have been some local epidemics recently, China's domestic epidemic prevention and control situation is generally good, which is conducive to enhancing consumer confidence.

As the economy recovers, consumers' expectations for the economic outlook are improving, which is also conducive to enhancing consumer expectations.

From these perspectives, it is expected that the contribution of consumption to economic growth will continue to improve.
