[Explanation] Guangzhou Port Group recently announced that it is expected that the near-ocean wharf project in the Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port will be put into operation this year. By then, Shazai Island will have 8 ro-ro car berths, a 1.8 km wharf coastline, and more than 1.6 million. The ro-ro terminal cluster of a square meter commodity vehicle yard has become China's largest automobile logistics hub island.
By then, the group's commodity vehicle passing capacity will exceed 2 million, and it will enter the world-class ro-ro port echelon.

The near-ocean wharf project in Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port is a key project (Guangdong Province and Guangzhou City), and it is also a project included in the “siege of the city” in Guangzhou. The total investment of the first phase of this project is nearly 1.8 billion. At present, our project is in full swing (under construction). It is coming to an end. First of all, we saw that the main hydraulic wharf of the wharf has come out. It will have the conditions for berthing before the "July 1st" at the end of June this year. The site, including this auxiliary construction area, is under large-scale construction. At present, the main structure has been basically completed. We plan to complete the overall project in August this year.
[Explanation] According to reports, Guangzhou Port has formed a ro-ro vehicle development pattern with "Xinsha in the east and Nansha in the west" and the two sides of the Pearl River flying together.
Xinsha Wharf has 3 professional ro-ro berths, and 5 special ro-ro car berths on Shazai Island have been put into operation.
The reporter visited the port of automobile horse head a few days ago and saw that hundreds of thousands of cars of different brands were parked on the shore. Following the command center's order, the cars drove on the cargo ships in an orderly manner, and then drove around the world.

Because our current Nansha Automobile Port is now connected to a total of five berths in Haijia (terminal) which was put into operation last year, we now have five berths and five ships calling at the port at the same time, so my current (shipping) efficiency is up to the hour 500 units. If the offshore (terminal) is put into production at the end of July this year, we will have seven berths at the Nansha Automobile Port. From now on, we will operate seven ships at the same time, and my (shipping) efficiency will go to 750 (units per unit). [Explanation] It is understood that since 2004, since the professional launch of the ro-ro commodity automobile business, the loading and unloading volume of Guangzhou Port has increased by more than 33% annually.
In the whole year of 2020, Guangzhou Port has completed the loading and unloading of 1.501 million commercial vehicles, and its throughput ranks first among coastal port groups in the country.
From January to April in 2021, Guangzhou Port Group completed a total of 513,000 commercial vehicles loading and unloading, a year-on-year increase of 165,000 vehicles, an increase of 47.4%; of which, foreign trade exports completed 28,000 vehicles, an increase of 133.3% year-on-year (an increase of 250% from 2019).
