They are among the sectors most affected by the coronavirus epidemic.

While bars and restaurants will be able to reopen their terraces from May 19, then their rooms on June 9, nightclubs are still waiting to know what their future will bring.

"I gave them a perspective, since before June 15, they will be set an opening date," recalls the Minister for SMEs Alain Griset, invited Saturday morning of Europe 1.

"I have met a lot" with professionals in the sector, assures the minister.

"There is work that is currently being done. With the Ministry of Health, next week we will have discussions to see how we will be able to reopen them safely," he adds.

Last Monday, the member of the government had indicated that the operators would be fixed "on June 15 at the latest".

"We will find a solution, I hope quite quickly"

And whatever happens, the state will remain at the bedside of the sector.

"We will continue to support them financially, because I know their difficulties, and we will find a solution, I hope quite quickly," continues Alain Griset.

In the meantime, the bars and restaurants will be able to reopen their terraces on May 19. But many restaurateurs remain annoyed by the gauges imposed by the government. On Europe 1, the Minister for SMEs defends the choices of the executive. "The decision we have taken is to give a prospect of reopening without return. We are gradually opening with sanitary conditions that allow us to have a prospect of total opening in the long term. And in parallel, we continue to put health conditions that restrict the activity of these professionals, but continuing to support them financially and to compensate for the shortfall, "he explains.
