Slight increases in gasoline prices and a decline in diesel prices during May
The sites of fuel distribution companies revealed today that the prices of gasoline "gasoline" with its derivatives "Super 98", "Special 95", and "I Plus 91" revealed a slight increase in their indicators as of the first of next May, with a value that reached one penny per liter. The price of a liter of diesel registered a decrease of five fils compared to the prices of this month of April, according to the prices approved by the Committee for Monitoring the Prices of Various Fuels, including VAT, at a rate of 5%.
The price of a liter of "Super 98" gasoline increased from 2.29 dirhams previously, to 2.30 dirhams, an increase of one penny, while the price of a liter of "special 95" gasoline increased from 2.17 dirhams, to 2.18 dirhams, an increase of a penny. The price of a liter of gasoline «iPlus 91» from 2.10 dirhams to 2.11 dirhams.
The price of a liter of diesel decreased from 2.22 dirhams per liter previously, to 217 dirhams, down by five fils as of the beginning of next May.
It is noteworthy that the fuel price standards adopted by the Ministry of Energy and Industry are determined on a monthly basis, according to the average international oil prices, up or down, after adding the operating costs of the distribution companies.
