He held talks with the Minister of Economy and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany Peter Altmeier.

The meeting was also attended by the head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

“We agreed that it is important to make joint projects in hydrogen energy,” the press service of the Russian government quotes Novak as saying.

Novak recalled that the Prime Minister of the federal state of Saxony proposed joint projects in the field of hydrogen. 

“I will give the relevant instructions to the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Denis Valentinovich Manturov is here, he hears us that we jointly propose one or two projects with which we would start,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Energy and the German Ministry of Economy and Energy signed a declaration of intent to cooperate in the field of sustainable energy.
