“In the current period of time, we are changing our strategy a little and are paying more attention to the issue of creating new gas processing facilities,” RIA Novosti quotes Miller.

According to him, this is due to the fact that the gas from fields in Eastern Siberia is multicomponent, ethane-containing.

In addition, he noted, at traditional fields in Western Siberia, work is underway in deeper and deeper gas strata, and it is also ethane-containing.

Thus, Miller said, the company aims to monetize the development of such gas reserves.

According to him, she has two such projects - the complex in Ust-Luga and the Amur gas processing plant - and they are among the largest in the world.

In February, Gazprom's board of directors decided to re-elect Miller as chairman of the board for another five years.
