The FIA Electric GT, or eGT, will bring together cars closely derived from road models, which will be converted to electricity.
We can find brands like Ferrari, Aston Martin, BMW, etc.
Their maximum power will be established at 550 hp and they will be able to have 2 or 4 motors and 2 or 4 driving wheels.
With a weight of between 1,490 and 1,530 kg, they will be heavier than their GT3 petrol equivalents.
The batteries will be supplied by Saft, a firm of the Total group, and will have a regeneration of 700 kW, as well as a very fast recharge, ideal for recovering energy in the middle of the race.
The FIA deliberately wants to limit budgets and create a zero emissions championship.
