April 26 is World Intellectual Property Day.
The General Administration of Customs Director General Jin Hai told reporters on the same day that in 2020, the customs took 65,300 intellectual property protection measures and seized 61,900 shipments of suspected import and export infringing goods, involving 56,181,900 goods.
He introduced that 93% of the directly affiliated customs have seized infringing goods, of which 15 directly affiliated customs have detained more than 1,000 batches, an increase of 3 from 2019.
