"China's Better Life City" was announced!

  On April 23, the 2020-2021 "China's Good Life Cities Launch Ceremony" was grandly held in Chengdu.

Jiang Xiwei, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of China Central Radio and Television, and Wang Fengchao, deputy secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Committee and Mayor, attended the event.

Relevant comrades in charge of the Finance and Economics Program Center of the Main Station, Sichuan Main Station, and representatives of "China's Better Life City" participated in the event.

  Dalian, Shanghai, Changsha, Beijing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Guiyang, Haikou, Shenzhen, and Fuzhou are among the top ten "Cities of Beauty" (in order of the first strokes of the city names); Shangrao, Beihai, Anqing, Foshan, Suzhou, Yichang , Baoshan, Quanzhou, Tai’an, and Huzhou are among the top ten "Beautiful Cities" (in order of the first strokes of the city names).

  The "China's Good Life Cities Release Ceremony" relies on the data from the world's largest survey of people's livelihood feelings-"China's Good Life Survey", and the evaluation results are calculated through model calculations.

This survey has been ongoing for fifteen years and was jointly launched by the National Bureau of Statistics, China Post Group Co., Ltd., and the National Development Research Institute of Peking University.

The survey is conducted by issuing questionnaires at home and on-board airlines.

  This year's "China's Good Life Survey" has a richer survey level, and strives to show a more colorful and beautiful city of life.

According to different subdivision dimensions, three sub-lists are also launched:

  Top 10 "Cities of Longing": Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Qingdao, Hangzhou, Kunming, Lhasa, Chongqing, Xiamen (the ranking rules are the same as above)

  Top 10 "Favorite Cities": Wuxi, Taizhou, Ankang, Lianyungang, Yueyang, Guilin, Zhuhai, Mianyang, Zhangzhou, Ganzhou (the ranking rules are the same as above)

  Top ten "comfortable cities": Sanya, Ningbo, Yangzhou, Jinhua, Nanjing, Nanchong, Guiyang, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Zhanjiang (the ranking rules are the same as above)

  The China Good Life Survey has the value dimensions of acquisition, happiness, and security, with 21 grading indicators.

The scores of the award-winning cities are evaluated by the residents of their respective cities based on their own feelings, which embodies the core concept of "the paper is published by the times, the government answers the papers, and the people read the papers".

In the global environment of the COVID-19 pandemic, China has firmly and forcefully carried out prevention and control, and resumed work and production at the fastest speed. This year's survey has also increased the weight of stable employment.

  From the comprehensive data, people are more satisfied with parks/green space, convenience of life, city image, public cultural services and water/air quality.

  At the launch ceremony, more than 40 representatives of award-winning cities gathered to share the journey of creating a better life city, showcase the charm and charm of a better life city, and provide cases and reflections for promoting the construction of a better life city.
