  On the 13th, the State Council Information Office held a press conference on the import and export situation in the first quarter of 2021. Li Kuiwen made the above statement when answering questions from reporters.

  Li Kuiwen said that in the first quarter of this year, my country's total imports and exports to the remaining 14 RCEP member states was 2.67 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.9%, accounting for 31.5% of my country's total foreign trade import and export value.

Among them, exports were 1.25 trillion yuan, an increase of 27.5%; imports were 1.42 trillion yuan, an increase of 19%.

Among the main members, imports and exports to ASEAN, Japan and South Korea increased by 26.1%, 20.8% and 19.5% respectively.

  Li Kuiwen introduced that in terms of export commodities, the export of mechanical and electrical products was 659.85 billion yuan, an increase of 28.7%, accounting for 53% of the total value of exports to RCEP member countries.

Among them, the integrated circuit is 72.68 billion yuan, and the automatic data processing equipment and its parts are 65.09 billion yuan, an increase of 2.4% and 25% respectively.

Exports of textile and garments increased by 27.9%.

In terms of imported goods, imported integrated circuits were 262.47 billion yuan, an increase of 11.2%; iron ore was 164.79 billion yuan, an increase of 62.8%; consumer goods were 121.2 billion yuan, an increase of 10.1%; automatic data processing equipment and parts and components were 42.95 billion yuan, an increase of 20.2 %; The primary form of plastic is 41.71 billion yuan, an increase of 27.3%.
