Organize and accept the entrepreneur's self-report: a single charge of five figures, the annual salary of employees exceeds 200,000

Sino-Singapore Jingwei Client, April 10 (Zhao Jiaran) "What, if you clean up the house for others, you can earn hundreds of thousands a year?" This is the first reaction that many people gave when they heard about the income of "organizers" .

At the beginning of 2021, the organizer was listed as a new occupation by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and there were reports that over 40% of the practitioners had an annual salary of over 100,000 yuan.

What is the difference between it and housekeeping?

Is the threshold high?

Listen to an insider telling his entrepreneurial story over the past five years.

Going into a career because of healing yourself

Luo Luo is a "post-90s" girl from Chongqing. After graduation, she went to Hangzhou to work in the financial industry with her professional counterpart.

Due to the tight pace of work, Luo Luo felt "a lot of pressure" in just a few years.

When she is in a bad mood, she comforts herself by tidying up her residence.

"I have always been a person who pays attention to the details of life. When the psychological pressure is high after work, the process of organizing the room will unknowingly bring a sense of healing, and the mood will change with the layout of the room, which gives me a sense of surprise. After feeling the "power" of sorting and storing, Luo Luo began to systematically understand relevant professional knowledge.

In the process of familiarization, Luo Luo learned more cases of household tidying, and also gained his own understanding of the emerging industry of tidying and storage.

In 2016, she started to formally start her own business, turning her hobby into professional work.

"At that time, I had the enthusiasm of'newborn calves are not afraid of tigers', no entrepreneurial experience, no team and'comrades in arms', and the market is almost in an unexplored state. Most people have never heard of the industry of organizing managers. Recalling the method of opening the market in the early days of entrepreneurship, Luo Luo said with emotion, “I rely on the circle of friends and free services to accumulate a little bit of experience”.

"Some friends came to my house and wanted to take photos and post them to social media when they saw the house was well organized. I took advantage of the trend and asked them to help with'advertising.' I didn't expect someone to be interested. So, I went to the other party's house to provide free services. , To be familiar with various types of rooms, and to explore in practice."

With the increase in the number of orders, Luo Luo slowly polished out a set of operation methods, which were perfected one by one in terms of planning, design, plan writing, execution, quotation, and working hours.

After making preparations, Luo Luo finally established his own small team with more than ten employees.

According to Luo Luo, in the past five years, the small team has grown into a company with hundreds of people. There are more than 200 full-time organizers under the company's contract, and there are nearly 1,000 part-time staff.

"A cloakroom tidying up costs 100,000 yuan"

How much money can the organizer earn?

According to media reports, more than 40% of practitioners earn more than 100,000 yuan per year.

In this regard, Luo Luo said that taking his company’s contracted organizer as an example, the annual salary can reach an average of 200,000 to 300,000 yuan.

However, to become a qualified organizer, the required career threshold may exceed the public's imagination.

Luo Luo introduced that the organizer needs to receive about half a month of theoretical training before taking up the job, and then start practical training, familiarize with the situation of each family, and reach the level of independent work. It takes at least one month of training.

However, it may take half a year to a year or even longer to go from a mere practitioner to an organizer who can work on its own.

"As an independent organizer, you first need sufficient experience and experience, be good at capturing the in-depth needs of customers, give a reasonable design plan, and make choices among abandoning items, increasing space, and changing the pattern. Some only do On the surface, the practitioners are not much different from the housekeeping service. Over time, customers will feel that the problem has not been solved." Luo Luo said frankly.

Regarding the charging conditions for sorting and storage, Luo Luo said that they can be roughly divided into two charging methods: time or space.

"The most common fee range in our orders is around 20,000 to 30,000 yuan. If a larger house may rise to 50,000 yuan. For example, if a client has just moved to a villa and needs to be cleaned up, then I will send 6 people for three days. Pack it up within.” She pointed out that according to the quality of the service provided by the organizer, the charging standard will also change.

"The biggest order I took was to organize a closet, to be precise, a cloakroom, and the total cost was 100,000 yuan. Some customers bought too many things and couldn't fit them, so they used the house to store things. , And then hire us to help clean up. Although these are individual cases, our overall aim is to meet the needs of our customers and put people first."

Luo Luo said that she will formulate plans based on consumer needs, housing types, family composition and other aspects. For some customers with less demand or limited financial conditions, she can purchase courses or remote consultations for a single fee. The standard ranges from 100-300 yuan.

"It's not housekeeping plus, not just tidy up the room"

In Luo Luo's view, as a new profession, there is still a way to go from the time when the organizer is known and understood by the public and gradually accepted by the general public.

“Many people’s understanding of tidying up is housekeeping plus (advanced housekeeping). They think it’s just tidying up the house, but in fact this understanding is wrong. The objects of tidying are not only rooms and objects, but also emotions, time, goals, etc. "

Luo Luo believes that home can be seen as a projection of people’s mentality. Messy homes often have their own reasons. Organizers "organize" not only the room itself, but sometimes they also need to help clients re-plan their lifestyles or even change. Their ideas and habits.

When recalling his experience of communicating with various families, Luo Luo remembered a special order.

"I once met a middle-aged couple and they said that their home was too messy and needed to be cleaned up. In my opinion, the couple usually behave harmoniously, and there is nothing unusual. But when I went to their home, I found that they were in the closet. All are the clothes of the hostess. The host doesn’t even have his own wardrobe. His clothes can only be packed aside at will or stacked in boxes. On the other hand, the hostess’s clothes are hung properly, seeming to declare the ownership of the wardrobe. ."

Luo Luo said that when he discovered this phenomenon, he thought that the relationship between the couple might not be as perfect as it seemed.

However, as a server, she does not intend to speak out her doubts directly, but tries to guide the other party in the form of suggestions.

"I half-jokingly said to the hostess,'You know what, some customers organized in our way, family life has become harmonious!' Sure enough, she showed interest and asked me what I should do. Guide her with other people’s cases and tell her that putting too much clothes in the closet will affect the efficiency of making choices. Finally, she agreed to give her husband a small half of the closet."

Talking about the reasons for this suggestion, Luo Luo said that in a sense, the redistribution of storage space also means the adjustment of family balance.

"When the host came home, I found a man who was unsmiling and could laugh so happily. Soon after the business was completed, the hostess sent me a message saying that their relationship is much better now."

When talking about the future trend of the sorting and storage industry, Luo Luo said frankly that the industry is still in its "baby period", but he believes that it will develop towards popularity in the future.

"For the market, I think that management and storage will gradually become popular, and maybe even participate in education, such as helping children develop habits and thinking habits from an early age."

Luo Luo mentioned that at the National Two Sessions in 2021, the organizer once entered the public eye as a "net celebrity" profession.

In the online voting, the organizer ranked first in the "emerging profession you are most willing to pick".

In January 2021, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security announced a number of newly-added occupations, and the new occupations such as "plant essential oil conditioner", "wine body designer" and "carbon emission manager" are listed among them.

This also means that more groups have learned about the work content of the organizer and are interested in it.

With the increase of practitioners and entrepreneurs, more and more enterprises related to organizing and storing are taking root.

According to the data of Tianyancha App, there are more than 20 brands related to storage services. Among them, the "Prince of Storage" brand completed nearly 10 million yuan in angel round financing in 2017.

In addition, Longzhu Technology, a listed household goods company, has focused on the development of storage products in recent years. In 2019, its storage products series revenue was 174 million yuan, accounting for the highest proportion of total revenue; according to the performance bulletin released by Longzhu Technology, the company's net profit in 2020 will increase 20.42%.

"With the familiarity and recognition of the public, this industry is moving towards development and growth. For practitioners, there are boundless challenges and opportunities for organizing and storing work, and it is even possible to establish a new business model." Luo Luo said.
