For the first time in more than a decade, the European Space Agency (ESA) is looking for astronauts again.

Applicants can submit their documents until May 28th.

ESA expects that thousands will again apply for the rare positions.

The ESA also wants to become more diverse in the future and would like to motivate women in particular to apply with its announcement.
