According to the website of the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Administration of Taxation have jointly issued the "Notice on the Import Tax Policy of Anti-HIV Drugs for 2021-2030". The public welfare attributes of medical and health undertakings support the prevention and treatment of AIDS. From January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2030, import duties and value-added tax on imports of anti-HIV drugs commissioned by the Health Commission will be exempted.
The list of anti-HIV drugs that enjoy the duty-free policy and the entrusted importer shall be determined by the Health Commission and sent to the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Administration of Taxation.
